Rocky Pepper will work with you to create a unique landscape design that meets your functional and lifestyle needs while complementing and enhancing the architecture of your property.

We embrace all design challenges, from the smallest courtyard through to the largest of rural properties.

The Process

1. Initial Consultation

At the onsite consultation we take a full brief from you to establish your vision, needs and requirements for the design. This stage is also important for us to ensure we precisely understand any site related factors to take into consideration when designing.

From here we supply a brief and fee proposal for your confirmation.

It may be that you have a very small garden, or an area in particular that needs to be addressed - or just some general guidance on a way forward. In this case we can arrange a Action Plan with a consultation fee.

2. The Landscape Plan

Based on the information gained from our meeting we produce a full concept design with relevant 3D drawings to convey the arrangement of space and hardscape elements, style of planting and look and feel for your landscape.

A draft plan will be supplied within 2 weeks of confirmation and the final plan estimated around 4 weeks.

3. The Planting Plan and Technical Specs

Following signoff on the Concept Plans we can then produce detailed planting plans and plant lists and working drawings for hardscape construction. These provide a clear framework for the construction and planting of your landscape. This is important if you plan on carrying out the planting yourself or require a landscape plan for resource consent.

4. Installation

We can carry out the work. We organise the plants and planting for you. If we cant do it we will introduce you to great trusted hard landscaping contractors.

5. Maintenance

Keep your garden at its best with ongoing maintenance. We can provide monthly to seasonal maintenance services in the wider Hamilton area.

Fees

  • The consultation plan or action plan is a basic plan perfect for the DIYer. Useful for small spaces or a practical nudge in the right direction.

    Prices vary from $300-$600 for this service

  • A comprehensive landscape design that complies with your brief. This design illustrates and incorporates features such as the configuration and function of spaces, areas of soft and hard landscaping and structures.

    Pricing varies widely based on detail required and scale.

  • PLANTING PLAN

    a scale plan of your site showing the exact location and size of each plant. It includes a plant schedule with names, pictures, quantities and a maintenance guide. Helpful if you plan to carry out thework yourself or have a plant focused garden.

    To help you visualise the spaces we can give you a tour of your garden before its started.
