The client requested a low-maintenance garden design, a change from their previous large lifestyle block. They wanted an easy-care solution for their new town property that would still incorporate some of their favorite plants.

For the backyard, which overlooks the Waikato River, we chose low-growing plants to preserve the view. We also included various grass species to seamlessly blend the lawn with the nature strip at the rear of the property.

The front garden features clipped forms that require minimal upkeep, along with a considered selection of seasonal flowers to provide softness and color throughout the year. These forms are repeated through to the back garden for continuity.
